It all started with a walk through the city of San Francisco. Walking by blow-dry bars and salons, the founders thought to themselves that there had to be a better way to deliver quality professional beauty services. As busy mothers in a fast paced world, we understood the importance of convenience, and in addition, they understood the joy of luxury! In our technology driven lives, convenience suddenly seems more possible when with the swipe of a finger or the touch of a button, almost any service is available to you. The realization that a beauty service that took advantage of today's technology did not exist in the bay area inspired them to dream big and design one of their own!

Everyone whom they shared the idea with was enthralled. Stylists and prospective clients alike were all excited by a company as progressive as bfab. As bfab began to take shape in the minds of the founders, they found themselves constantly thinking about the company and how to best gear it towards clients. Countless hours were spent sitting around the dinner table, discussing with their families and friends about what exactly bfab could offer. After brainstorming for hours upon hours the founders were able to say confidently that a mobile technology company that brings beauty to it's clients was on the way. 

Coming up with the name was the hardest part. Even when the women thought they had settled upon one, there was always a sliver of doubt in the back of their minds. But when they threw around the idea of bfab, suddenly there was no doubt. bfab, a name to encourage women to truly be fabulous!
